CEO & President

Farahnaz (Fari) Haley is the founder and CEO of QunTech Inc (QTI). Fari has over two decades of experience as a cyber-security executive, including roles that have supported the White House to NASDAQ. She has led compliance and audit teams through significant global expansion and helped promote the proliferation of new technology solutions.

Fari is responsible for the overall growth and vision for QTI. Prior to launching QTI, Fari worked and led key cyber security teams for companies such as, SAIC, Peraton, CACI and has supported a host of agencies from, DHS, Treasury, SSA, Department of Labor and Department of Defense. Fari has held many hats over the years, a program coordinator, a SUN system administrator, and a DOD IT Subject Matter Expert (SME); she found her true passion in security and compliance.

Growing up in a family of IT consultants, she knew early on she wanted to be in the Federal IT community. She started as an intern for an IT Consultant company in high school, continued working through college as network administrator before joining a EDS after college. Fari received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, as well as a minor in Computer Engineering from University of Maryland College Park. She has also served on the committee of The Citizens Foundation as well as the Hunar Foundation, among other community activities such as Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS). When not working, Fari enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her pets, and organizing everything. She is passionate about reading, softball and mentoring young girls thinking of entering the STEM community.
